Comprehensive, but just so -so

Not my favorite book in the topic, but the assigned text for my class.
One good quality of the book is that it explained the concepts, then, for each one, gave examples from famous artists from history, then gave an exercise for the reader.

Has helped tremendously!

Perfect for my Drawing 1 class. I purchased the book for another professor but transferred to another who did not have this book required for her class. Her class has been very difficult for me- this book is truly amazing. Has helped me tremendously in understanding how to "see" better/understand drawing.
